Ta. Sin. These are the verses of the Quran and a Book luminous.

(27:1)

Hudan wabushra lilmumineen(a)

A guidance and glad tidings to the believers.

(27:2)

Allatheena yuqeemoona a(l)ssalata wayutoona a(l)zzakata wahum bi(a)lakhirati hum yooqinoon(a)

Who establish Salat and pay Zakat and of the Hereafter they are convinced.

(27:3)

Inna allatheena la yuminoona bi(a)lakhirati zayyanna lahum aAAmalahum fahum yaAAmahoon(a)

Verily those who do not believe in the Hereafter-fair-seeming to them We-SWT have made their works, so that they wander perplexed.

(27:4)

Olaika allatheena lahum sooo alAAathabi wahum fee alakhirati humu alakhsaroon(a)

Those are they for whom there will be an ill chastisement, and in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers.

(27:5)

Wainnaka latulaqqa alqurana min ladun hakeemin AAaleem(in)

And surely you-SW are receiving the Quran from the presence of One Wise, Aware.

(27:6)

Ith qala moosa liahlihi innee anastu naran saateekum minha bikhabarin aw ateekum bishihabin qabasin laAAallakum tastaloon(a)

Recall when Musa-AS came to his-AS household and said: Verily I see a fire afar. I shall forthwith bring you tidings thereof, or bring you a brand lighted therefrom, that you may warm yourselves.

(27:7)

Falamma jaaha noodiya an boorika man fee a(l)nnari waman hawlaha wasubhana Allahi rabbi alAAalameen(a)

Then when he-AS came to it, he-AS was cried unto thus: Blessed is Whoever is in the fire and Whoever is around it, and hallowed be Allah-SWT , the Rabb-SWT of the worlds.

(27:8)

Ya moosa innahu ana Allahu alAAazeezu alhakeem(u)

Musa-AS! It is really I Allah-SWT , the Mighty, the Wise.

(27:9)

Waalqi AAasaka falamma raaha tahtazzu kaannaha jannun walla mudbiran walam yuAAaqqib ya moosa la takhaf innee la yakhafu ladayya almursaloon(a)

And cast down your-AS rod. Then when he-AS saw it wriggling as though it was a serpent, he-AS turned in flight and did not look back. Musa-AS! Do not be alarmed, in My-SWT Presence the sent ones do not fear.

(27:10)

Illa man thalama thumma baddala husnan baAAda sooin fainnee ghafoorun raheem(un)

Excepting any who may have done wrong and thereafter changes evil for good, then verily I am Forgiving. Merciful.

(27:11)

Waadkhil yadaka fee jaybika takhruj baydaa min ghayri sooin fee tisAAi ayatin ila firAAawna waqawmihi innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeen(a)

And put your-AS hand into your-AS bosom, it shall come forth white, without any hurt: Among nine Signs to the Pharaoh and his-AS people. Verily they have been a people transgressing.

(27:12)

Falamma jaathum ayatuna mubsiratan qaloo hatha sihrun mubeen(un)

Then when Our Signs came to them illuminating, they said: this is a magic manifest.

(27:13)

Wajahadoo biha wa(i)stayqanatha anfusuhum thulman waAAuluwwan faonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatu almufsideen(a)

And they denied them, out of spite and arrogance, although their souls were convinced thereof. So behold! What has been the end of the corruptors.

(27:14)

In The Name of Allah-SWT the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
SECRETS OF REVELATION:

Ta. Sin. These are the verses of the Quran, a clear and manifest Scripture, which expounds realities. It is a source of guidance and salvation for those who enjoy full trust in it. This is demonstrated by the fact that they are pragmatic in Allah-SWT's obedience, strive earnestly in His-SWT worship and pay Zakat. In other words, they obey Allah in practical conduct as well as m financial matters. They do not do this with the intention of acquiring mundane benefits but out of a firm faith in the Day of Reckoning, seeking success on that Day. And those who do not believe in the Akhirah, their evil deeds are made fair seeming to them as a punishment. They continue to plunge deeper into misguidance by leading a sinful life. They shall always face an agonizing doom, and will be at great loss in the Akhirah. However, their denial can by no means undermine the credibility of the Quran, revealed to the Holy Prophet-SW by Allah-SWT , the Wise and the Aware.

The Holy Prophet-SW must not feel dejected with the response he-SW gets. The preceding Prophets-AS were also raised with truth and miracles but the wretched refused to believe in them. Take the account of Prophet Musa-AS, for instance. When he-AS was travelling back to Egypt along with his-AS family, he-AS lost his-AS way in the wilderness on a cold night. He-AS saw fire on the other side of the valley, and told his-AS family to stay put while he-AS went towards the fire. He-AS hoped to find someone who would put him-AS back to the track, and he-AS would also bring back a piece of ignited firewood to warm up. When he-AS reached near the fire he-AS heard a voice saying: ‘Blessed be Whoever is inside the fire and whoever is standing by it.’

Observation Of Divine Lights And Speech

It was not really the conventional fire but Divine Lights attended by the angels, who were duly blessed. However, what Prophet Musa-AS heard were Allah-SWT's Personal Words, as if coming from all directions, in a state which could neither be determined nor identified. It was as if not only his ears, but his entire body was listening.

Was The Refulgence Personal?

The Commentators have discussed at length whether these Divine Lights were Allah-SWT's Personal Refulgence or not. To the best of my understanding, this Refulgence was not Personal but Attributive as angels were also present there Besides, this Refulgence was manifested to impart knowledge and knowledge is an attribute. As for the question whether Allah-SWT Himself was present in the Fire, the answer is in the negative, for Allah-SWT is beyond any transfusion. He-SWT is far too exalted to transfuse into any entity, being Himself the Creator of all entities as well as their Sustainer and Guardian. Mark the words in the address: I am Allah-SWT , the Mighty, the Wise”. He-SWT summoned the Prophet-AS out of His-SWT Wisdom to witness the wonders of His-SWT Omnipotence. He-AS was instructed to cast his-AS staff. As soon as he-AS did, it transformed into a big serpent writhing and twisting around. Prophet Musa-AS was awestruck and fled without even turning back to take a look. He-AS was told not to be afraid, for he-AS had been blessed with Prophethood, and the Prophets-AS do not fear while in His-SWT Presence.

Prophets-AS Also Possess Natural Instincts

This event shows that the Prophets-AS also possess natural human instincts and where these are not exhibited, it is only as a miracle. Allah-SWT said that the Prophet-AS should not be afraid, as even a sinner who has repented and opted for piety, need not be afraid in His-SWT Court. He-SWT is Forgiving and Merciful. As a second miracle, he-AS was told to place his-AS hand into the bosom of his-AS robe which came out as bright as the moon. And he-AS was told that he-AS would be given nine miracles in all before he-AS proceeded to the Pharaoh and his folk who were living a sinful life. When Prophet Musa-AS later invited the Pharaoh’s people to Allah-SWT and manifested his-AS miracles, they took it as magic.

Denial Out Of Spite

Their denial was merely out of spite as they knew deep in their hearts that it was not magic but miracles endowed by Allah-SWT . This indeed was a great transgression, a sheer arrogance on their part. The ill fated mischief-mongers were, therefore, pushed into the Fire after being drowned to death.
